LEAGUE INFO
Hi everybody, we are about to get under way. We have 11 members in the league and only one will be standing by the end of it. I am going to use the Yahoo platform, because they are setup for Guillotine leagues. I have never done this before and I don’t think any of you have as well. If there are any issues, I will keep track of everything offline and can use this site for official scoring if need be, but Yahoo should work fine. I will include a link to the yahoo league below and will also invite you all using email/text in the next day.

DRAFT INFO
Our offline draft will begin on Tuesday 9/23 around 11am. I will determine the draft order using 2 other members of the league. I will have somebody text me a list of the people in the league in a random order and I will have somebody else send me the numbers 1-11 in a random order. I will match both up for the draft order. Once the draft begins, I will text whoever is on the clock and they will text me back their pick. There is no time limit on picks, but please try to submit them within reason. You don’t wanna be on the clock for 5 hours.

DRAFT BOARD
We will be using a google sheet to execute our draft. There are 5 tabs on the bottom of the google sheet. The first is the Live Draft Board where you can see everybody’s team. The other four tabs are for available players at each position (QB, RB, WR, TE). When it is your turn to pick, take a look through all the tabs and tell me who you want and simply text me your selection. I will update the board ASAP. Rules

  • 11 team fantasy football league with normal scoring (PPR). Season begins starting week 4 of the NFL season. Every week, the lowest scoring team will be eliminated. All of their players will be released into free agency, where the remaining teams will have a chance to pick up the players and create their own super teams.

  • We will hold an offline snake draft that will begin ASAP and will conclude by Wednesday Evening 9/24 before week 4 TNF kickoff. I will create an in depth google sheet with a player list and live draft board for people to make their picks. There is no time limit on picks. This draft will likely take several days. When you are on the clock, I will let you know and I will submit your picks and inform the next player when it is their pick.

  • The league will be setup through Yahoo. After the draft is completed, your team will be available to you on Yahoo. You will have FAAB for the whole season and can add existing free agents or new free agents as teams begin to lose. There are no $0 bids. You must spend at least $1 to pick up a free agent, so if you blow all your money, your roster will be stuck going forward.

    If you are eliminated, I will drop your players to Free Agency and your team will be locked and unable to add free agents.

  • The rosters will have no kickers and no defenses and only 3 bench spots. There will be no IR spot, so holding on to an injured player will take up a roster spot. See below for details

  • Scoring will be done through Yahoo and you can monitor weekly totals there. I will be keeping official track of the teams eliminated and teams remaining here on this site as well.

  • Starting week 11, there will be 4 teams remaining. Week 11 and 12 will be considered the first round of the playoffs. It will be a 2 week total and the lowest scoring team will be eliminated. The same 2 week process follows for the semis with the remaining three teams (weeks 13 and 14), and the finals with the remaining two teams (week 15 and 16).

  • 1st Place receives 70% of the pot
    2nd Place receives 20% of the pot
    3rd Place receives 10% of the pot
