4 teams remaining
Initially, when we setup this league, the final 4 was supposed to work differently. We were going to have the quarter finals, semi finals and finals, all be 2 week matchups. I thought there would be more customization capabilities, but Yahoo has made things difficult or impossible. The way I see it, we have 3 options. Please see below for details and let me know how you want to proceed.
OPTION 1
Keep things as planned. I can keep all the scoring offline and we can have a third party (eliminated manager) be who we submit our waiver claims to. This option would be the most difficult and would be a pain in the ass. I’m not a fan.
OPTION 2
We run this thing out in the next 3 weeks. 1 week matchups until a winner is crowned. This is the easiest way.
OPTION 3 (My Preferred Method)
The final four and the final three weeks will be single week matchups. One team will be eliminated each week. However, when there are only 2 teams remaining, that will be a 2 week final. This will work well, because our elimination process is a week behind, so waivers and rosters will still function totally fine. The only thing I will have to do manually is combine the scoring of the final 2 weeks. Easy enough.

Its Fantasy football. Simpy draft your team and set your lineup. And if you lose, there is always next week……unless you finish with the fewest points on the week, that is. The team with the fewest points on the week is eliminated and all of their players become free agents for the remaining teams.
Your season may last past Thanksgiving, or it could be over after week 1. Good luck!

The draft is held offline over several days. We will leisurely pick our teams and I will input the results one completed. You can then access your roster through our yahoo league.

Scoring in this league is pretty standard. Only exception is that it is a full PPR.
Roster breakdown is pretty simple as well. No Kickers,no Defenses and no IR spots are the only real nuances. See below for roster structure:

When there are only 4 teams remaining, we will start eliminating teams after a 2 week matchup instead of a 1 week matchup. You made it this far, you have earned a bit of a break from a single brutal week.

The league fee is $30. In future years, we will probably up that a bit, but since we are all newbies, might as well make it fairly low stakes.
1st Place = 70% of pot
2nd Place = 20% of pot
3rd Place = 10% of pot
