Rules
-
You select one team from each seed in the NCAA March Madness Tournament. You will end up with 16 teams and every time one of your teams gets a win, you get a win. Most wins at the end of March Madness wins the money. Text or email me your squad of 16 teams by Thursday at 12:15 pm.
-
All scoring and tracking will be done by me and can be viewed right here on this site. I will constantly send out links with updated standings. You can also bookmark this page to view at any time.
-
As I stated before, you select one team from each seed in the tourney. For example, there are four 1-seeds. Auburn, Duke, Florida and Houston. You can only choose one of those four teams to be a part of your squad. Any time the team you choose gets a win in the tourney, your squad gets a win and the person with the most wins gets the money. Repeat this process for seeds 2-16 and message me your squad.
-
This format does not include the play-in games. If you are making your squad before the play-in games, you can just let me know you want the winner of a certain game for that seed. For example, the 11-seeded UNC plays the 11- seeded SDSU in a play-in match. You can let me know you want the winner of that game to be your 11 seed. You can also choose to wait until after the play-in games are completed and can send me your squad before the opening tip-off on Thursday at 12:15pm.
-
If there is more than one team with the most wins at the end of March Madness, We will follow these tie-breakers in this order:
The person with the team that went the farthest in the tourney. For example, if Team A had their best team make the final four, but team Be had their team win the championship, team B would win the tie-breaker and Team A would finish second.
The person with the most Final Four teams.
If there is still a possibility of a tie, the teams in contention will send me a total score for the national championship game. Whoever is the closest will win the tie-breaker. Price is Right rules do not apply, so you can be over the total and still win if your closest.
If still tied after that, the pot will be split between the top 2 teams.
