Future Winnings Pool
$10 out of everybody’s fees goes to a future winnings pool. Any owner who has a perfect 16-0 season, or any owner who wins back-to-back championships will collect this pot. If there is no winner within a 4 year span, we will play a Super Falcon Bowl which means the title game for that seasons playoffs will include the future winnings pool.
The Pool currently sits at $360 and if nobody wins it, the 2025 season will be a Super Falcon Bowl
Scoring
The weekly scoring in this league is pretty standard. There is half a point per reception. There are no big-week or big-play bonuses. There are no points for return yardage. See our league scoring through ESPN for more details.

Trading
Once a trade is agreed upon, inform the commissioner and he will approve it immediately. There is almost zero chance that I will not accept a trade. If you want to make a stupid trade, go for it. If there is league disagreement or concern, then trade will be put to league vote. Majority decision.
Waiver Wire
We use a FAB (Free Agent Budget) of $100 for the entire season for all waiver wire acquisitions. Waiver wire results are finalized on Wednesdays at noon, and every day at noon the rest of the week until noon on Sundays. You cannot see how much other owners have offered for a player. You can offer $0 for a player and receive him if nobody else bids on that player. If owners bid the same amount, tie-breaker is reverse order of standings. If there are any issues or questions, alert the commissioner as he can edit rosters at any time. I will make roster moves for people up until the 1pm kickoff and will make accommodations if the opponent agrees as well.
Falcon Bowl Playoffs
The top 8 teams play for the Falcon Bowl in weeks 15-17. The #1 seed gets a 35 point advantage over the # 8 seed. The #2 seed gets a 25 point advantage over the #7 seed. All other matches are played evenly during the playoffs. Winner gets $400 but more importantly, they get possession of the glorious Falcon Bowl with their name forever etched in glory.
Donkey Bowl Playoffs
The bottom 4 teams will play in a 3-week, cumulative score total for the title and possession of the League Donkey. Whoever scores the fewest points during this 3-week span becomes the league Donkey and must display the Donkey Trophy proudly and prominently in their home or work office until a new donkey is crowned.
Arbitrary Rules That Are Not Always Followed
Owners must attend live draft or at the least, send a proxy on their behalf.
Player pun team names are only allowed if you roster that player.
Team names must be changed every year, unless you win a championship with that team name. That name can then be used forever.
Draft Night
The draft takes place on labor day of each year at the Commissioner’s House at 28 Burroughs Street, Danvers MA. The time may change by an hour or so to help accommodate people but it will generally start around 5pm. Commissioner will let you know well in advance exact timing
Draft order will be unveiled just prior to the scheduled draft time. There are 12 envelopes, one with each teams name in it that are pulled in inverse order from a bucket.
The commissioner will provide food (usually calzones and pizza), snacks and beer. Food will arrive about 20 minutes before draft begins. BYOB if you want anything specific.
I am home all day, so show up anytime and I will be there with a drink in my hand.
2023 Side Bets
Mark and Jim
Player who finishes higher at the end of the regular season gets to name the others team. In case of tie, points scored will be the tie-breaker

Player who wins the regular season matchup(s) will have the option to swap draft positions at the 2024 draft. Tie breaker will be points scored during the matchups
Winner: Dan
Greg and Mike
Player who loses the regular season matchup(s) will have to wear a lobster costume to the 2024 draft. Tie breaker will be points scored during the matchups
Winner: Mike
Mark and Tim
If Tim wins all 4 of his final regular season games, he will be able to swap draft position with Mark at the 2024 draft. If he loses any, Mark can swap with Tim
Winner: Mark (Tim went 0-4 in his final four weeks)
