THANKS FOR ANOTHER GREAT SEASON AND CONGRATS TO MIKE!
Mike Melisi dominated this season from beginning to end. Even after losing fantasy MVP Derrick Henry, Melisi never slowed down and just pissed all over his opponents in the playoffs. Mike pockets a cool grand of cash for his efforts which is a nice bonus while he prepares for his new job. Truly dominant season that was capped off by Jamaar Chase’s 55.6 point effort in the finals. Enjoy the sweet taste of victory and the sweet taste of John’s beloved Brenda. She always goes down smooth.
Great season for Tuna as well. Nick takes home $200 and everybody’s respect after managing his injured and auto-drafted team to the finals.
It’s not a fantasy season until Derek cries, so we know this one was legit. Sorry that the seeding was not up to your standards but sleep well knowing Melisi would have brained you in the finals as well.
This season feels like a missed opportunity for me. Not often you end the year with the RB3, DEF2 and the runaway RB1 and WR1 on your roster and don’t even make the finals. One of the better teams I’ve had, but fantasy football is a fickle lady.
Solid season from Greggy. You and I both ran into the buzzsaw that was Hennessey. Nothing to be ashamed of this season.
Good effort on your title defense, John. You have made the playoffs both seasons and you seem to still have some of that Brenda luck and swagger hanging around you. You and Brenda are destined to reunite.
A decent 8-6 record was not enough to get Steve into the playoffs. At least you finished better than your 2-12 Falcon Bowl team.
Burrill was the anomaly of the league this year. He finished with the 4th highest scoring team, but finished in the 8 spot with an 8-6 record and missed the playoffs for the second season in a row.
Bit of a rude awakening for Dinardo, who is used to always making the playoffs in the Falcon Bowl. A 7-7 record and finishing in the 9 spot will not cut it.
I’ve said it before but nobody got fucked harder than Ron this season. He had a nice squad that just shattered into a million pieces a few weeks into the season. 7 of his first 9 draft picks were on the IR for at least 4 weeks or were injured for the season at some point. Just garbage luck
Then there are the Deveau’s. I have a little bit of pity for Mike. There were only 2 other teams that had opponents score over 1700 points on the season. Your opponents scored 1,894 points on the year. That is just gross. No matter how good your team is it’s tough to overcome that hard of a schedule. Dan it seems, fell into a coma and was unable to finish the season. It’s too bad, because his opponents scored almost 400 fewer points than Mike so his schedule was significantly easier. Both Deveau’s have missed the playoffs in both seasons, but there is always next year.
As always, thanks for playing boys. I have a blast commissioning this league and hope you guys have fun too. Considering a few minor changes for next season that I will run by you guys before the start. I’ll check in with all of you for the NFL Fantasy Playoffs before the playoffs begin.
