Round 1 - Standard Trivia

• Round 1 is pretty standard trivia. Turn order is randomly determined prior to the game and each team goes in turns answering questions in different categories.

• A digital dice will be rolled to determine the category and your team will be given 25 seconds to answer the question. If you answer correctly, your game piece will move one spot closer to the next round. see below for a list of the categories.

• If you answer incorrectly, only the next team in order will have a chance to steal the point. They will have 15 seconds to provide an answer.

• Your team must move 8 spaces to advance to the second round

• Each team has the opportunity to double one question during this round. Once the dice is rolled and you know the category, your team can choose to double the value of the question before it is asked. If answered correctly, you will move 2 spaces. However, if you answer incorrectly, you will move back 1 space. The double is only for the initial team, so if stolen, that team will only move forward one space and would not move backwards for a wrong answer.

• Each team has one opportunity to steal a question that is not answered correctly by the first two teams. If both teams answer incorrectly you can say that you want to steal. If you answer it correctly, you will move ahead 1 space, however if you answer incorrectly, you will move back 1 space. If multiple teams want to steal the same question, the tie-breaker will be determined by who is closest in order.

• Music (general music trivia question)

• TV (general tv trivia question)

• Sports (general sports trivia question)

• Misc. (pop culture, video games, fashion, toys, etc)

• Movie Poster (name the movie based on the blank movie poster)

• Album Cover (name the artist based on the blank album cover)

• Athlete Photo (name the athlete based on the photo)

• Song Lyrics (you will see a line from a song. You need to tell me the next line)

• Movie Clip (name the movie based on the audio clip provided)

• Song Clip (name the artist based on the first 20 seconds of the song provided)

Round 2 - The Pit of Fire

This round is much different than the first. There will be a category and teams will take turns providing a correct answer for the category. If your team provides a correct answer, then it goes to the next team. If you answer incorrectly, your team loses that category and your game piece moves one spot closer to the Pit of Fire. Each category goes until all the correct answers are exposed or until there is only 1 team left. Only 3 teams can leave this round and make it to the final round.
