ROUND 1 - GENERAL TRIVIA
There are 10 categories in this round. When your team is up, a 12-sided dice will be rolled to determine the category for your question. See below for a list of the categories and which number on the dice they correspond with.
Your team will have 20 seconds to answer the question after I am finished reading. All questions will appear on screen if you need to see the question again.
If you answer correctly, your game piece will move one spot closer to round 2. If you answer incorrectly, your game piece will not move. The next team up will have a chance to steal if the first team answers incorrectly. The stealing team will only have 5 seconds to answer.
Round 1 ends when four teams have moved 10 spaces across the finish line

BONUSES
TRIPLE UP
Each team has 1 chance to use a triple up. After the category is revealed, but before the question is read, you can choose to use your triple up. If you answer the question correctly, you move 3 spaces.
DOUBLE UP
Each team has 1 chance to use a double up. After the category is revealed, but before the question is read, you can choose to use your double up. If you answer the question correctly, you move 2 spaces.
STEAL
If a question is answered incorrectly by both teams eligible to answer, you can elect to use your steal. If you do so and answer correctly, you move ahead 2 spaces.
SONG CONNECTION
During the first two rounds, there will be a visual element. There will be a board that will have 3 artists linked together. You need to link the artists using words from a 90s song title. I will explain this in greater detail at the event, but if you are able to solve the song connection, you will move ahead one space. You can solve these at any time, not just during your turn. Come up to me and submit your answer and if you are correct, you will move ahead.
ROUND 2 - NAME THE ARTIST
Teams will take turns being played 30 second song clips. All that is needed is to name the artist (or featured artist) of the song. I will pause the song in 10 second increments, so you will have 3 different opportunities to answer. Teams must answer quickly. You will have between 5-10 seconds to submit an answer.
Correct answer 1-10 seconds: Move ahead 3 spaces
Correct answer 11-20 seconds: Move ahead 2 spaces
Correct answer 21-30 seconds: Move ahead 1 space
Incorrect Answer: Do not move any spaces
The round ends when 3 teams have successfully moved ahead 10 spaces.
ROUND 3 - JEOPARDY
This is the final round of the Ultimate 90s Trivia Game. It’s simple. There are 6 categories of Jeopardy with one Final Jeopardy category at the end. If you know how to play Jeopardy, you are good to go. If you do not know how to play Jeopardy….beat it nerd. Whoever wins Jeopardy is crowned as the Ultimate 90s Trivia Champion.
GRAND CHAMPION ROUND
If there is time, and if the champs decide to, they can challenge me to a Round 2 battle. The winning team will square off against me naming the artists of music clips. If I am defeated, than the Champs can truly call themselves the Champs.
